Melting Open Album Release Today!

Hey friends,

I’m writing to let you know that my first full length ambient album, entitled Melting Open, is now available. The sound is ethereal, spacious and melodic. Crafting this music has been a true labor of love. If you’re curious to check it out, my invitation to you is to slow down, create a little extra space within and around you, and receive it with an open heart.

I relate to this as medicine music. To any yoga teachers, psychedelic medicine guides or massage therapists out there, this music may lend itself to your work. If you know folks who are working in these spaces, please help me spread the word to them. I’d appreciate it so much!

If you have the means to support my music, you can purchase the album here on Bandcamp where you’ll also find some detailed explanations around my process of making this music and what this record means to me. You can also stream it from Spotify or from Apple Music. Furthermore, if it seems like there is enough interest, I would consider putting this album on vinyl, so please do let me know if that interests you!

I want to give a huge thanks to Rachel Eisenstat for lending her beautiful voice to my rendition of Bhakti, a song by Ishq, one of my biggest musical inspirations. Thanks also to Kyle Liss who helped me with the mixing process. And last but not least, big thanks to Avery Argenna who animated the album art for Spotify. Avery has also created some mesmerizing kaleidoscopic videos to accompany the three songs from this record. I’ll send another update once the videos are posted online.

Thanks for reading and thanks for your support - I truly hope you enjoy listening to this music as much as I enjoyed making it. Also, I just want to offer a friendly reminder that Circle & Arc’s debut album will be released one week from today on Friday May 2nd.

Much love,

-Michael
